Our student on a World-Class Stage

Bellus Students Perform at the Kauffman Center

Bellus Music Studio was honored to be selected to participate in the Future Stages Festival at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Students had the opportunity to share piano duets and trios on one of Kansas City's premier stages while gaining valuable performance experience in a professional concert setting.

Events like these help students develop confidence, artistry, and the joy of sharing music with others.

Published Research & Professional Contributions

The teaching philosophies that guide Bellus Music Studio have been recognized nationally through publication in the peer-reviewed journal Piano Magazine.

Our article, Reimagining Summer Practice: How Community-Based Recitals Inspire Musical Growth, highlights innovative educational programs that connect music with science, nature, history, and community engagement. These experiences help students become not only better musicians, but also more curious, creative, and engaged learners.
